Abstract

We are living in an era of OTT platforms. Multiple web series are available on different platforms. Some kinds of content are rare to find, one such Web Series is ‘Asur’. The series dealt with the combination of Mythology and Science & Technology. On the broader aspect, it shows the impact of the wrong use of technology on the society and morality with a base of Indian Mythology. This series is about the battle between Kali and Kalki. Kali is the evil power and Kalki is the virtuous power according to Hindu Mythology. Asur aka Shubh believes that he is the incarnation of kali on earth and wants to change the era by bringing the Kalyug on its peak by doing unjust and bringing the evil side of everyone out of their soul. This research paper sheds light on the Representation of Technology, Society and Morality in Web Series ‘ASUR’.
